Andalucia has closed this last Easter, with the best tourism results in the last eight years. An average hotel occupancy of 68.2 % and a total of 1.2 million overnight stays between Sunday March 29 and Saturday April 4 was recorded . Stays in regulated tourist accommodation, increased 6.1% over the previous year , and total employment stood at 4, 5 points above the average of 2014. The spokesperson of the Andalusian government, Don Miguel Angel Vazquez said that ” the actual results have exceeded better forecasts for this Easter .”
